Freelance violinist based in London

Catherine is a freelance violinist and wedding violinist currently living in Crouch End, North London. Having studied with Gillian Findlay at Trinity College of Music, Catherine now divides her time between performing and teaching. She currently performs with the Orchestra of the Swan, the New London Sinfonia and other freelance ensembles.

Her work can be very varied and in the coming year she has recitals in London with a pianist, a tour with the Orchestra of the Swan and orchestral concerts in Lisbon.

Catherine has taught violin at The London Oratory School for the past 8 years and for the past 12 years has worked on the NLMS music summer school as leader and section coach of the Sinfonia.
